In-Vitro Fertilisation

In-Vitro Fertilisation (IVF) is an artificial reproductive technology (ART) used to treat infertility. The treatment is practiced when other medical options fail to respond. Though IVF is around for 40 years it is now commonly used all over the world and the reason is to help infertile couples get healthy babies of their own. It was started with the birth of the first IVF baby, Louise Brown, in 1978, and from that time more than 5 million bundles of joy have been recorded into the world and that is all due to IVF treatment.

Matrika Medicare is a subsidiary of Fertility Care India and has established the name as a premier in the field of IVF and surrogacy. We have been associated with different partners in this genre and to ensure that anyone who comes for IVF treatment gets the best from us. IVF literally means “fertilization in glass”, but glass is no longer used, and is replaced by plastic. The IVF service starts with different processes which involve fertilizing the egg with the sperm in an incubator outside the body. Next is transferring the best embryo back into the woman’s uterus thereby achieving pregnancy.

IVF was developed for women who experience the blocked tubes or missing fallopian tubes. Men suffering from infertility also benefits from this. The treatment is also used when unexplained infertility is experienced or when no medical cause can be found. Whether you are researching on fertility treatments or intend to know about the best IVF center in Delhi, we are here to assist you and help you comprehend the complete process. We, at Matrika Medicare, strive to help people solve the challenges that they are experiencing and have fruitful result thereby enjoying parenthood.

The complete process of IVF

In the first phase, consultation with the IVF specialist and following tests will diagnose the problem. If the situation paves the way towards IVF treatment, depending upon the condition, either own egg/sperm or donors egg/sperm is used. In some cases, frozen egg or sperm can also be used. The process starts in the following way:

  • Stimulation of ovaries using medication
  • The response of ovaries are monitored with ultrasound for follicles
  • For final maturation of eggs, an injection of hCG is triggered
  • After 35 to 38 hours of triggering injection, egg retrieval process starts
  • The healthy sperm is then added with the egg approx 4 hours after egg retrieval
  • Dishes are placed in the incubator for fertilization
  • Finally, the embryo chosen for transfer is then loaded into a transfer catheter and passed through the cervix into the uterus.
  • After 14 days simple blood test confirms conception

This procedure is followed in IVF treatment. Besides, every fertility journey is different and that would reflect in the fee schedule as well. According to the different stages of treatment, costs are being set, which one can check at Matrika Medicare.
